Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Lagos State, Pastor Cornelius Ojelabi, has extended warm greetings to Muslims across the state on the occasion of Eid Mubarak.
EpeInsights reports that Ojelabi urged citizens to uphold the values of sacrifice, unity and compassion that define the sacred celebration.
In a statement issued on Friday, Ojelabi reflected on the spiritual significance of Eid-ul-Adha, calling on Muslims to spread joy, love and kindness to people around them, especially during this festive period.
“Eid is a time of reflection, sacrifice, and togetherness. Let us embrace these values and share our blessings with those in need,” he stated.
The APC chairman commended the party’s national leadership, particularly President Bola Tinubu, for what he described as tireless efforts to transform the country’s fortunes and rebuild trust in governance.
“Under the visionary leadership of our dear President, the nation is witnessing reforms that are reshaping its future. His commitment to national development has earned him respect both at home and abroad,” Ojelabi remarked.
He also praised Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu for his impactful leadership in Lagos State, noting that his administration continues to impr
ove the lives of residents through inclusive programs and infrastructural development.
As Lagos gears up for the forthcoming local government elections, Ojelabi called on APC members, supporters, and residents to remain steadfast in their support for the party and to work together in unity.
“Let us keep faith with our great party. The APC remains committed to serving Lagosians and advancing development at all levels,” he urged.
He concluded by wishing Muslims a joyous and peaceful Eid-ul-Adha, praying that Allah blesses the entire Muslim community with prosperity and continued harmony.
“Eid Mubarak to all. May this season bring peace, love, and renewed hope to our homes and communities.”
