As the newly elected council chairmen across Lagos State officially assume office, Hon. Ogunkelu Sylvester, Member of the Lagos State House of Assembly representing Epe Constituency II, has extended warm congratulations to the newly sworn-in Chairmen of Eredo LCDA and Ikosi-Ejinrin LCDA.
EpeInsights reports that Hon. Ogunkelu, in a statement released on Sunday, celebrated the inauguration of Hon. Ismail Monsuru Akinloye (Eredo LCDA) and Hon. Akogun Wale Raji Anomo (Ikosi-Ejinrin LCDA), describing their new terms in office as a “divine mandate” to serve the people with integrity, accountability, and vision.
“On behalf of the good people of Epe Constituency II, I extend my heartfelt congratulations to you both on your successful swearing-in ceremonies,” the lawmaker said.
“This new phase of leadership is an opportunity to deepen your commitment to the development and prosperity of our communities.”
The two Chairmen were officially sworn in on Sunday, July 27, 2025, during a state ceremony held at the Sport Pavilion Ground, Lagos House, Alausa, along with other elected leaders from the 20 LGAs and 37 LCDAs across Lagos State.
Ogunkelu expressed optimism that the tenures of both Chairmen would usher in a new era of progress, peace, and people-focused governance for their respective LCDAs.
“May God Almighty guide your steps, strengthen your hands, and bless your efforts with lasting impact,” he added.
As the political landscape in Epe Constituency II continues to evolve with renewed mandates, stakeholders and residents alike are hopeful that the new leadership will sustain the momentum of local development and inclusive governance.
