Lekki LCDA Organises Free Health Outreach for Men, Focuses on Prostate Cancer, Dental Care

As part of ongoing efforts to improve community health and promote preventive medical care, the Executive Chairman of Lekki Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Engr. Rasaki Bamidele Kasali (MNSE, MNATE), has announced a two-day Free Health Outreach focused on prostate cancer screening for men and dental care services for all residents.

EpeInsights reports that the medical outreach, themed “Saving Our Men,” will take place on Saturday, 18th, and Sunday, 19th October 2025, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. daily, at the Lekki LCDA Secretariat.

According to the Media Office of the Executive Chairman, the programme will feature free consultations, diagnostic tests and medications, in addition to targeted screening for prostate health and dental checks.

Engr. Kasali urged residents, especially men within the LCDA, to take full advantage of this initiative, describing it as a vital step toward early detection and prevention of health challenges that often go unnoticed until they become severe.

He further encouraged community members to spread the word and ensure broad participation, noting that the council remains committed to upscaling primary healthcare services and ensuring that residents have access to quality, free medical care.
