Staff of Lekki Local Council Development Area (LCDA) were all smiles as the Council, under the leadership of Engr. Rasaki Bamidele Kasali (MNSE, MNATE), popularly known as RBK, organised yet another orientation session on pension and life insurance matters aimed at strengthening workers’ knowledge and security for the future.
EpeInsights gathered that the training, which formed part of the council’s ongoing welfare initiative, provided staff with a deeper understanding of their rights, benefits and responsibilities under the pension scheme and life insurance policy.
Participants were guided through the processes of contribution management, benefits accessibility, and the long-term security the scheme guarantees for them and their families.
The interactive session also gave employees the opportunity to ask questions, seek clarifications, and engage directly with industry experts, who explained the policies in simple, practical terms.
Speaking during the program, Chairman Kasali reaffirmed his administration’s unwavering commitment to staff welfare, noting that the well-being of workers remains central to the council’s vision.
“Our staff deserve to feel secure about their future. Beyond the work they do daily to serve our people, it is our responsibility to ensure they have peace of mind, both now and in the years ahead,” RBK emphasized.
This initiative, observers note, underscores the Chairman’s reputation for prioritizing the welfare of his workforce and creating an enabling environment where employees can thrive.
