In a bid to strengthen grassroots healthcare delivery, the Executive Chairman of Lekki Local Council Development Area, Engr. Rasaki Bamidele Kasali (MNSE, MNATE), has approved and commenced the construction of a Type-A Primary Health Centre in Okun Ise community.

EpeInsights we reports that the project, which is already underway, is in direct response to the long-standing yearnings of residents for improved access to quality and affordable healthcare services.

Once completed, the facility will provide comprehensive primary health services, bringing essential medical care closer to the people of Okun Ise and neighboring communities.

Speaking through the Media Office of the Executive Chairman, Engr. Kasali reaffirmed his administration’s unwavering commitment to the well-being of residents across Lekki LCDA.

He emphasized that the construction of the new health centre aligns with his administration’s vision of expanding healthcare infrastructure and ensuring that no community is left behind in the council’s health development agenda.

The Chairman noted that the ongoing project adds to the growing list of healthcare interventions under his leadership.

Since assuming office, he has overseen the construction and reconstruction of six Primary Health Centres across the LCDA each designed to strengthen the council’s capacity for effective and accessible healthcare delivery.

He further revealed that the ongoing construction of a Type-C ultra-modern Primary Health Centre remains the flagship of these initiatives, serving as a model for future healthcare projects across Lekki LCDA.

Engr. Kasali assured residents that the new Type-A PHC in Okun Ise will be fully equipped with modern medical facilities and staffed by qualified health professionals to provide maternal care, immunization, emergency response, and other essential health services.

“Our administration is fully committed to improving the health and well-being of every resident. This project is another step in ensuring that quality healthcare is not a privilege but a right accessible to all,” he stated.

With the ongoing project, the RBK-led administration continues to deliver on its promise of responsive, inclusive, and people-centered governance, setting a new standard for primary healthcare delivery in Lekki LCDA.
