In a heartwarming show of gratitude, a newly inducted medical doctor, Dr. Lasisi Idris Temidayo, on Monday paid a courtesy visit to the Executive Chairman of Lekki Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Engr. Rasaki Bamidele Kasali (MNSE, MNATE), to appreciate his support and sponsorship throughout his medical studies at the Lagos State University College of Medicine (LASUCOM).
EpeInsights reports that Dr. Lasisi, an indigene of Osoroko Town in Lekki LCDA, was accompanied by his mother during the visit to the Chairman’s office.
The young doctor, who recently passed his final professional examinations, described the scholarship provided by the council as a “life-changing intervention” that eased his financial burdens and enabled him to concentrate fully on his education.
He expressed deep appreciation to the Chairman for believing in his potential and investing in his future, noting that the gesture not only transformed his personal journey but also reflected the administration’s commitment to human capital development in the community.

Responding, Engr. Kasali congratulated Dr. Lasisi on successful completion of his medical training, commending his determination and academic excellence.
He urged the young doctor to remain humble, compassionate, and service-driven in his professional calling, reminding him that the true essence of medicine lies in humanity and service.
“Your success is a testimony that our investment in youth education is worthwhile. We believe that empowering young people through education is one of the most sustainable ways to build our community,” Engr. Kasali said.
The Chairman reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to supporting education and youth empowerment initiatives, noting that such interventions remain central to his #RBKCareForAll agenda and the broader #RenewedHopeInAction vision for Lekki LCDA.

The visit concluded with a brief interaction and photo session, symbolizing the Chairman’s ongoing encouragement for local talents and future professionals emerging from the community.
