In a move to expand employment opportunities and promote fairness in public sector recruitment, the Lagos State Teaching Service Commission (TESCOM) has officially re-activated its online job application portal.
EpeInsights reports that the updated platform is part of the state government’s broader commitment to digital transformation and inclusive employment policies particularly in the education sector.
Speaking at a press briefing, TESCOM Chairperson, Mrs. Victoria Mopelola Peregrino emphasized that the portal is designed with accessibility and user-friendliness in mind.
“What sets this portal apart, is its commitment to inclusivity. We’ve made sure it’s accessible to young people, persons with disabilities, and other marginalized groups who often face barriers in traditional hiring processes.”
Beyond just a tool for job applications, the portal is also positioned as a data-driven platform to support strategic workforce planning and evidence-based policy-making in the education sector.
Mrs. Peregrino reiterated TESCOM’s dedication to building a transparent, accessible environment for employment, especially for young people hoping to begin or grow their careers in teaching.
“We want to create an ecosystem where people can not only find jobs but build sustainable careers and contribute meaningfully to state and national development,” she added.
The Application Window is Tuesday, July 1st – Monday, July 14th, 2025 while eligible Applicants are Degree holders in Education and other qualified professionals.
