The people of Ibeju-Lekki LGA are mourning the loss of one of their most dedicated grassroots leaders, Alhaja Oluwakemi Rufai, the Councillor representing Ward C1, who passed away on Tuesday.

Known for her unwavering commitment to the people she represented, Alhaja Rufai worked tirelessly to advance the welfare of Ward C1 and strengthen her party’s grassroots impact.
In a heartfelt condolence message, the Executive Chairman of Lekki LCDA, Engr. Rasaki Bamidele Kasali (MNSE, MNATE), described her as “a kind woman who served her people and her party to the best of her ability.”
He noted that her passing was not only a loss to her family and Ward C1, but to the entirety of Ibeju-Lekki and Lekki LCDA.
“On behalf of the good people of Lekki LCDA, I extend my heartfelt condolences to her family, friends, and colleagues. We pray that Almighty Allah grant her Al-Jannah Firdaus and give her loved ones the strength to bear this great loss,” Engr. Kasali said.
