The Executive Chairman of Ibeju-Lekki Local Government, Hon. Abdullahi Sesan Olowa, has felicitated with the Muslim Ummah in the local government and beyond on the occasion of this year’s Maulud Nabiy, the commemoration of the birth of Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him).

EpeInsights reports that in his goodwill message, Hon. Olowa described the day as a sacred moment of reflection on the Prophet’s exemplary life and timeless virtues of compassion, unity, and devotion to Allah.

“Maulud Nabiy is not only a time for spiritual renewal but also an opportunity to foster harmony, strengthen community bonds, and extend kindness to all, especially the less privileged,” he said.

The council boss urged residents of Ibeju-Lekki to use the occasion to pray for peace, prosperity, and unity in the local government, Lagos State and Nigeria at large.

He also prayed for Allah (SWT) to accept the supplications of the faithful and continue to bless the Ummah with guidance and mercy.

“May Allah continue to shower His blessings on our Noble Prophet Muhammad (SAW), his household, his companions, and the entire Ummah till the day of reckoning. Jummah Mubarak and happy Maulud Nabiy! May the light of the Prophet’s teachings continue to guide us all,” he added.

The Maulud Nabiy celebration is observed annually by Muslims worldwide as a reminder of the Prophet’s message of peace, humility, and service to humanity.
