The Executive Chairman of Ibeju-Lekki Local Government, Hon. Abdullahi Sesan Olowa, has joined other dignitaries, indigenes, and well-wishers to celebrate the Alara of Ilara Kingdom, His Royal Majesty, Oba (Dr.) Olufolarin Olukayode Ogunsanwo (Telade IV), on the occasion of his birthday.
EpeInsights reports that in a goodwill message issued on behalf of his administration and the people of Ibeju-Lekki, Hon. Olowa described the monarch as a symbol of visionary leadership and cultural preservation whose reign has brought renewed hope and progress to his people.
“Your Majesty, this occasion is not merely a celebration of another year in your illustrious life but a profound reflection on the extraordinary journey of leadership, wisdom, and benevolence that has defined your reign and profoundly shaped the destiny of our people,” he said.
The council boss lauded the monarch’s steadfastness in promoting unity, peace, and development across Epe Division and beyond, noting that his reign has been marked by justice, compassion, and resilience.
He also praised Oba Ogunsanwo for his role in safeguarding the traditions of the people while embracing modern development initiatives.
While praying for divine blessings upon the revered monarch, Hon. Olowa wished the Kabiyesi long life, good health, and renewed strength to continue serving as a beacon of hope and prosperity to his subjects.
He concluded with the traditional royal salute: “Kabiyesi o! K’ade pe lori, ki bata pe lese, igba odun, odun kan ni o.”
