It was a day of pomp, pageantry, and celebration in Orimedu as the Executive Chairman of Ibeju-Lekki Local Government, Hon. (Engr.) Abdullahi Sesan Olowa, joined dignitaries, traditional rulers and community leaders to honor Alhaja Rafiat Sanni Kareem on her 80th birthday and turbaning ceremony.

Guests from all walks of life, including the Vice Chairman of Ibeju-Lekki, Hon. Isiaka Yusuf Olatunji; former Lagos State House of Assembly member, Hon. Hon. Olowa, who described Alhaja Rafiat as “a pillar of strength and a beacon of inspiration,” praised her life of resilience, community service, and unwavering faith, adding that her impact extends beyond her family to the larger Ibeju-Lekki community.
