The Federation of Epe Division Students’ Association (FEDSA) National Executive Council has commended the Executive Chairman of Epe Local Government, Hon. Princess Surah Animashaun, for her outstanding and inclusive leadership.

EpeInsights reports that the Association in a statement released on Tuesday, praised Hon. Animashaun for her commitment to education, youth empowerment and community development.

FEDSA described her administration as a model of progress and purposeful governance.

As the first female chairman in the history of Epe Local Government, the Association noted that she has set a new standard in leadership through numerous impactful initiatives.

FEDSA also acknowledged several of her administration’s interventions, including financial support through bursary awards to indigent students, distribution of educational materials to primary and secondary schools and the launch of programs that promote innovation and leadership among young girls.

The Association also cited youth empowerment initiatives focused on vocational training, the construction of classroom blocks at the Army Barracks Primary School, and her efforts in promoting local tourism and preserving cultural heritage.

Additionally, the free distribution of over 500 GCE and JAMB forms was recognized as a major step toward improving access to higher education for underprivileged students.

According to the statement, these initiatives reflect a leadership built on compassion, vision, and a strong commitment to the development of future generations.

FEDSA also expressed its best wishes to Hon. Animashaun as she seeks re-election in the upcoming local government polls, stating that her track record speaks for itself.
