In a bold step towards strengthening the education sector, the Eredo Local Council Development Area (LCDA), under the visionary leadership of Hon. Ismail Monsuru Akinloye, will on Thursday, September 25, 2025, commission a series of new school projects designed to provide pupils and teachers with a more conducive learning environment.

EpeInsights reports that the projects include the construction of a block of six classrooms at St. Joseph R.M. Primary School in Obonwon, a block of three classrooms complete with furniture at UPE Primary School in Odogbawoko, and another block of six classrooms, also with furniture, at Odomola Junior Secondary School in Odomola.

According to Jubril Idris, popularly known as Epe-CityJnr and the Mouthpiece of Eredo LCDA, the initiative is part of the council’s long-standing commitment to quality education and community development.

Idris noted that the new facilities will not only ease the burden of overcrowding but also improve the overall learning atmosphere, ensuring that children in the LCDA have access to the tools they need to succeed.

He added that the administration of Hon. Akinloye remains focused on delivering people-oriented projects across every sector, with education at the forefront. “Together, let’s continue to build an Eredo where every child has access to quality education in a conducive environment,” he affirmed.

The forthcoming commissioning is expected to be a landmark event in the LCDA, reinforcing the council’s resolve to invest in the future of its young generation and contribute meaningfully to the growth and development of the community.Eredo LCDA to Unveil New School Projects September 25
