The leadership of Eredo Local Council Development Area (LCDA) has paid an appreciation visit to the Deputy Governor of Lagos State, Dr. Obafemi Hamzat, in recognition of his mentorship, political guidance, and support towards grassroots governance in the state.
EpeInsights learnt that the delegation, led by the Executive Chairman of Eredo LCDA, Hon. Monsuru Akinloye, included the Leader of the Legislative Chamber, Hon. Tunde Bakare, the Majority Leader, Hon. Johnson Hammed Temitope, the Chief of Staff, Hon. Adebowale Hamzat, and Hon. Akinjobi Oladimaji.
Speaking during the visit, Hon. Akinloye expressed profound gratitude to the Deputy Governor, describing him as a “pillar of inspiration whose leadership has set a standard of purposeful governance across Lagos State.”
He credited Dr. Hamzat’s strategic political direction and unwavering support as vital to the successes recorded during the last local government elections.
The Leader of the Legislative Chamber, Hon. Bakare, and Majority Leader, Hon. Temitope, also praised the Deputy Governor for his mentorship and his model of governance which, they noted, prioritizes development, inclusiveness, and accountability.
The delegation appealed for continued guidance, assuring that Eredo LCDA remains committed to replicating at the grassroots the values of transparency, people-oriented policies, and sustainable development championed by the Lagos State Government.
