In a touching demonstration of empathy and grassroots leadership, the Executive Chairman of Eredo Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Hon. Ismail Monsuru Akinloye, has paid a condolence visit to the family of the late Mr. Muniru Kadiri Alaga, a revered elder and community pillar whose passing has left a deep void in Eredo.

EpeInsights reports that in a statement released by the Chief Press Secretary to the Executive Chairman, Jubril Idris, Hon. Akinloye extolled the virtues of the deceased, describing him as a man of honour, wisdom and selfless dedication.

During the visit, he praised Mr. Alaga’s unwavering commitment to the progress of his people and the overall development of Eredo LCDA. “We have lost a rare gem,” the Chairman said.

“His legacy of service and leadership will continue to inspire generations. Mr. Alaga lived for the good of others and his impact will be long remembered.”

In a strong show of continued support, Hon. Akinloye assured the bereaved family that the council would take deliberate steps to empower the children of the late Alaga, helping them grow into self-reliant and impactful citizens.

“We will not forget the family,” he added. “We will continue to honour our father’s memory through meaningful support for his children.”

Speaking on behalf of the family, the widow of the deceased expressed heartfelt gratitude to the Chairman for his steadfast support both before and after her husband’s passing. She offered prayers for divine strength and wisdom for Hon. Akinloye and wished him a successful and impactful second term in office.

The visit, marked by emotional reflections and expressions of solidarity, reinforced the deep bond between the Eredo LCDA leadership and its people, especially during moments of grief.
