The Executive Chairman of Eredo LCDA, Hon. Ismail Monsuru Akinloye, has extended warm birthday wishes to Hon. Hamed Seriki, Commissioner of the Lagos State Local Government Service Commission, as he marks another remarkable year.

EpeInsights reports that Hon. Akinloye in a goodwill message released on Wednesday, described Hon. Seriki as a distinguished public servant whose contributions to grassroots development continue to inspire many across the state.

“I join multifarious friends, families, and loved ones to celebrate you on this auspicious day,” the statement read.

“As you mark another year on earth, I pray that Almighty Allah enriches you with graciousness, unending blessings, and benevolence.”

About Hon. Hamed Seriki

As he marks another year in public service, Hon. Hamed Ayinde Seriki, Commissioner II representing Epe Division at the Lagos State Local Government Service Commission, has been widely commended for his consistent dedication to grassroots development, staff welfare, and institutional reform within the state’s local government system.

Born on June 18, 1972, Seriki hails from the respected Seriki family of Epe and has carved out a distinguished career rooted in public service. He began his academic journey at Alapere Community Primary School, and later attended Comprehensive High School, Agidi-Ketu.

He holds a Second-Class Honours degree in Geography and Planning from Lagos State University (LASU) and an MBA in Financial Management from Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH).

His career in the Lagos State Local Government system began in 2003 as an Information Officer II at Somolu Local Government.

Over the years, he served in various capacities across several councils, including Yaba LCDA, Egbe-Idimu LCDA, and Bariga LCDA. Seriki also served as Executive Secretary of Epe Local Government in 2015 and later as Senior Special Assistant to former Governor Akinwunmi Ambode.

In 2020, Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu appointed him Commissioner in the Local Government Service Commission, where he has continued to advocate for improved governance and staff capacity building.

A fellow of the Chartered Institute of Local Government & Public Administration of Nigeria (CILGPAN), and a member of both the Nigeria Institute of Management (NIM) and the Nigeria Institute of Public Administration (IPAN), Seriki is widely respected for his professional integrity.

Hon. Seriki is married to Mrs. Adewunmi Morufat Seriki and is known for his deep engagement in community, religious, and cultural activities across Lagos.

As he celebrates another year, many colleagues and stakeholders have described him as a bridge-builder and visionary leader who continues to play a vital role in deepening service delivery at the local government level in Lagos State.
