The Executive Chairman of Eredo Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Hon. Ismail Monsuru Akinloye, on Thursday paid an on-the-spot assessment visit to the long-neglected Odogbawojo Road, signaling a renewed commitment to addressing infrastructure challenges in the community.
EpeInsights gathered that Hon. Akinloye was accompanied by the Vice Chairman, Hon. Lateef Adesanya and other council officials during the inspection.
He assured residents that the local government will immediately deliberate on the modalities and practical steps required to commence the long-awaited reconstruction of the road.
“The Council will return to the table to work out modalities for the reconstruction of Odogbawojo Road. Our goal is to ensure this project, which residents have anticipated for years, becomes a reality in the shortest possible time,” Hon. Akinloye stated.
In a show of solidarity, His Royal Majesty, Oba Maruf Adelani Adeniyi, the Adegbajo of Odogbawojo, joined the inspection team.
The monarch commended the Council Chairman for his proactive leadership and for prioritizing the progress and development of the Odogbawojo community.
The visit has been widely described as another demonstration of Hon. Akinloye’s commitment to responsive governance and community-driven development.
