Member of the House of Representatives representing Epe Federal Constituency, Hon. Wale Raji, has expressed deep sorrow over the passing of Alhaji Chief Amuni Wahab Oladipupo, fondly known as Alhaji Double, who died at the remarkable age of 92.

EpeInsights reports that in an emotional tribute, Rep. Raji described the late Alakoso Adeen of the 1st Epe Central Mosque, Oke-Balogun, as a towering figure of peace, wisdom, and spiritual leadership, whose impact cut across generations and sectors in the Epe community.

“This is not just a personal loss for me, but a monumental loss for our entire community. Baba Oladipupo was a rare gem, a man of humility, integrity, and unshakable dedication to the values that bind us together,” Raji wrote.

Alhaji Oladipupo was revered not just for his religious leadership, but also for his ability to build bridges across divides, offer wise counsel in times of crisis, and lead with quiet strength and unwavering faith. A true custodian of Epe’s moral and cultural heritage, his voice of reason was trusted and respected far and wide.

Rep. Raji extended his heartfelt condolences to the deceased’s family, the Isale-Agoro quarters, the 1st Epe Central Mosque, and the entire Epe community, praying for Allah’s mercy and eternal peace upon his soul.

“We pray that Almighty Allah (SWT) grants him Aljannah Firdaus and comforts all who mourn this great loss,” he added.
