The Executive Chairman of Epe Local Government, Hon. (Princess) Surah Olayemi Animashaun, FHTI, has marked her first 100 days in office with an impressive record of achievements that residents describe as unprecedented, impactful, and truly transformative.

EpeInsights reports that in a brief statement titled 100 Days of Action, Impact, and Excellence,” the council highlighted the Chairman’s strides across key sectors, noting that her leadership has already begun to reshape the landscape of Epe through projects anchored on vision, accountability and community-centered development.

According to the update, Hon. Animashaun’s administration has delivered progress “you can see,” and impact “you can feel,” reflecting her commitment to practical governance and rapid development.

Within the first 100 days, significant improvements have been recorded in road rehabilitation, drainage clearing, and the upgrading of community access routes to ease movement for residents and businesses.

The council emphasized that these infrastructural interventions demonstrate the Chairman’s resolve to prioritize projects that directly affect the daily lives of the people.

In addition to road works, Hon. Animashaun has overseen the construction and upgrading of several public facilities.

Modern pavilions, community spaces and administrative structures have been completed or initiated, aimed at enhancing civic engagement and elevating the aesthetic value of the local government area.

These facilities, some already commissioned and others nearing completion are said to reflect a modern vision for a more functional, community-friendly Epe.

Described by supporters as “Iya Epe” a name that symbolizes her nurturing leadership style and service to the people, Hon. Animashaun has earned praise for being proactive, accessible, and development-driven.

Her leadership, the council noted, is built on a foundation of strategic planning and a deep understanding of the needs of Epe’s diverse communities, from urban centers to riverine areas.

Over the last 100 days, the administration has strengthened community relations through welfare programs, empowerment initiatives, and regular stakeholder engagement.

These efforts aim to ensure inclusive development and maintain an open line of communication between the government and the governed.

As Hon. Animashaun continues her administration, the council expressed optimism that the momentum built within the first 100 days will define a legacy of excellence in governance.

“This is Iya Epe—the symbol of excellence and the pride of Epe,” the statement read.

“A government built on progress, driven by vision, and committed to delivering a better future for every resident.”

Residents and political observers say the first 100 days offer a clear picture of what the administration stands for: strategic leadership, measurable results, and a renewed era of development for Epe Local Government.
