EpeInsights reports that the incident, which occurred in the early hours of Monday, sent shockwaves across the community, prompting calls for calm and justice.
In a statement released on Monday, Princess Animashaun described the incident as a “devastating” loss and offered her condolences to the bereaved family. “My heart is heavy,” she said.

“This is not the time for propaganda or divisive narratives,” she said.
“Let us stay focused on the facts and trust in the institutions responsible for ensuring justice is served.”
The Chairman added that the local government is working closely with law enforcement agencies to ensure the matter is handled transparently and responsibly.
“Justice will be pursued diligently, and we will continue to monitor developments until a fair resolution is achieved,” she said.
