The Executive Chairman of Epe Local Government, Hon. (Princess) Surah Olayemi Animashaun, on Thursday inspected several ongoing projects described as part of her administration’s legacy initiatives.
EpeInsights reports that the projects include a vocational centre aimed at equipping youths with practical skills, an ultra-modern multi-purpose hall for events and community activities, a museum and library to promote heritage and knowledge and a modern housing development known as the Lofty Apartment.
Speaking during the inspection, Animashaun said the projects were designed to empower residents and strengthen the social and economic life of the council area.
“These are not mere buildings; they are monuments of hope, empowerment and pride. With every project, we are building the Epe of our dreams — stronger, greater, and better,” she said.
The council boss noted that her administration would continue to prioritize development projects that directly impact the people, stressing that the goal is to make Epe a model of grassroots governance in Lagos State.
Residents and community leaders have commended the projects, describing them as a step forward in the ongoing efforts to improve infrastructure and opportunities within Epe Local Government.
