In a touching tribute to mark Father’s Day, the Executive Chairman of Epe Local Government, Hon. Princess Surah Animashaun, FHTI, has extended warm accolades to fathers in Epe, Lagos State and across Nigeria, celebrating them as the “quiet architects of destiny.”
EpeInsights reports that in a statement issued on Sunday, the Council boss praised fathers for their unwavering love, leadership, and strength, noting their vital role in shaping not only homes but also the moral fabric of society.
“Fathers are the quiet architects of destiny, laying foundations of wisdom, discipline, and love upon which families and societies rise. Your impact is profound, your value immeasurable,” she wrote.
Hon. Animashaun’s message was not just a general acknowledgment — it included a deeply personal tribute to her father, His Royal Majesty Oba Kamorudeen Ishola Animashaun, Arolugbade, the Oloja of Epe Land.
“Kabiyesi, you embody the highest ideals of fatherhood — strength tempered by compassion, tradition balanced with wisdom, and royalty carried with grace.”
She credited her father’s influence for shaping her leadership path and guiding her vision for public service.
“Your example has shaped my vision, fortified my values, and instilled in me a sense of duty far greater than myself.”
As the first female Chairman of Epe Local Government, Hon. Animashaun reaffirmed her pride in carrying forward a legacy of service and leadership inspired by her father’s reign.
