The Education Secretary of Epe Federal Constituency, Hon. Otunba Shittu Aliu Idowu Saico, has joined the Muslim ummah in observing today’s Juma’ah (Friday) prayers, offering words of encouragement, reflection and blessings to the faithful.
EpeInsights reports that Hon. Saico, quoting from the Holy Qur’an (Surah Al-Jumu’ah, verse 9), reminded Muslims of the spiritual significance of Friday, describing it as “Yaomul Akbar, Yaomul Shukur, and Yaomul Salama” the day of greatness, gratitude, and peace.
In his goodwill message, he expressed gratitude to Almighty Allah for the gift of Islam and prayed for forgiveness, divine mercy and fulfillment of the desires of the faithful.
“May Almighty Allah (SWT) reward every little effort we are making in multiples. May all our wishes and desires be accomplished, and may our shortcomings be forgiven today and always,” he said.
Hon. Saico concluded with a heartfelt prayer for continuous blessings upon the Muslim community, while wishing everyone a spiritually uplifting Juma’ah.
“Juma’ah Mubarak to all Muslims in Epe Federal Constituency and beyond,” he declared.
