The Executive Chairman of Epe Local Government, Hon. Princess Surah Olayemi Animashaun, has joined Muslim faithful in Epe and across Nigeria to celebrate this year’s Eid-el-Maulud, the commemoration of the birth of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him).
EpeInsights reports that in her goodwill message, Princess Animashaun extended heartfelt felicitations to the Muslim ummah, describing the occasion as a reminder of the Prophet’s timeless virtues of love, humility, peace and unity.
“The commemoration of the birth of our Noble Prophet Muhammad (SAW) reminds us of his noble message of compassion, humility, and peace. May this blessed day fill our hearts and homes with joy, fulfilment, and divine blessings,” she said.
The council boss noted that witnessing another Eid-el-Maulud in good health is a privilege and urged residents to deepen their faith and prayers while emulating the Prophet’s exemplary lifestyle.
She also called on the people of Epe to continue to support her administration, assuring them of her commitment to progress, transparency and massive infrastructural development within the local government.
“Together, with faith and unity, we shall achieve our shared vision for a greater Epe. May Allah’s mercy never depart from us, and may our land continue to prosper,” she added.
