The Committee of Wives of Lagos State Officials (COWLSO) has commenced preparations for its upcoming Free Medical Outreach across communities in the Epe Division, with a courtesy visit to the Executive Chairman of Ibeju-Lekki Local Government, Hon. Abdullahi Sesan Olowa.

EpeInsights learnt that the delegation from COWLSO was warmly received at the Council Secretariat during the week, where discussions centered on strategies to ensure the success of the health initiative.

The programme, according to the committee, is designed to make quality healthcare more accessible to residents, especially those in underserved communities, while also promoting the creation of a healthy and productive environment.

On his part, Hon. Olowa commended the initiative, describing it as a timely intervention that complements the council’s own efforts in improving the welfare of citizens.

He assured the delegation of the local government’s support in mobilizing residents and providing the enabling environment for the outreach to thrive.

The medical outreach, which will span several communities within Epe Division, is expected to feature free consultations, screenings, distribution of essential drugs, and health education aimed at preventing common illnesses.
