In celebration of its 25th anniversary, the Committee of Wives of Lagos State Officials (COWLSO) has once again demonstrated its commitment to improving the lives of Lagosians by delivering quality healthcare services to the people of Ibeju-Lekki Local Government and Lekki Local Council Development Area (LCDA).

Epeinsights reports that the event, held at the Ibeju-Lekki Local Government Secretariat, was spearheaded by the First Lady of Lagos State and Chairman of COWLSO, Dr. (Mrs.) Ibijoke Sanwo-Olu.

Residents benefitted from a wide range of free medical services including health check-ups, screenings, eye and dental care, distribution of essential drugs, and provision of free eyeglasses.

The outreach was warmly received by community members who described the gesture as a lifeline at a time when access to affordable healthcare remains a pressing need.

Adding her voice, Mrs. Ramat Bola Kasali, wife of the Executive Chairman of Lekki LCDA, praised COWLSO’s consistency and impact over the years.

She noted that the 25th anniversary is not just a celebration of longevity, but of tangible service to humanity.

“COWLSO has continued to raise the bar in humanitarian service and community empowerment. This outreach is a testament to their dedication to touching lives in meaningful ways,” Mrs. Kasali said.

With the theme “When the First Lady Leads, Communities Heal”, the programme highlighted COWLSO’s enduring vision of supporting women, children, and communities through sustainable initiatives.

The 25th anniversary celebration reinforced the organization’s role as a strong partner in the Lagos State government’s agenda of providing accessible healthcare, empowering families, and building healthier communities across the state.COWLSO @ 25: First Lady Leads Free Medical Outreach for Ibeju-Lekki and Lekki LCDA Residents
