APC Ikosi-Ejinrin LCDA Delegation Collects LASIEC Nomination Forms Ahead July 2025 Elections

A high-powered delegation from Ikosi-Ejinrin Local Council Development Area (LCDA) of the All Progressives Congress (APC) visited the APC State Secretariat at ACME, Ikeja, to collect nomination forms from the Lagos State Independent Electoral Commission (LASIEC).

EpeInsights reports that this is a significant step towards the forthcoming July 2025 Local Government Elections in Lagos State.

Leading the delegation was the Executive Chairman of the council and APC Chairmanship candidate, Akogun Wale Raji Anomo, accompanied by the APC LGA Party Chairman, Hon. Wittu Ajenifuja.

The move signals the formal commencement of campaign activities and underscores the party’s readiness to retain its hold on the grassroots political structure in the LCDA.

Also present was the returning Vice-Chairmanship candidate, Alhaji Wasiu Oluwole Dehinsilu, whose experience and commitment to local governance continue to attract strong support within the community.

The delegation featured the full slate of duly nominated Councillorship candidates across all wards in Ikosi-Ejinrin LCDA:

  • Disu Opeyemi Ajenise – Ward E1
  • Hassan Mustapha Owolabi – Ward E2
  • Ganiyu Selim Oluwaseun – Ward F1
  • Adesanya Shakirat – Ward G1
  • Oluwo Martins Oriyomi – Ward Q1
  • Ajayi Olumide Samuel – Ward R1

Describing the occasion as a “strategic milestone,” Anomo expressed confidence in the team’s capacity to deepen development and consolidate the progressive strides already made across the council area.

“The journey to deeper impact and progressive leadership continues,” he remarked, reaffirming the party’s commitment to effective governance and community empowerment.

The collection of nomination forms is a key requirement for all aspirants participating in the local government polls, and Ikosi-Ejinrin’s swift action reflects its well-organized structure and early preparedness for the democratic exercise.

As campaigns gear up, the APC in Ikosi-Ejinrin is positioning itself as the party to beat, banking on its track record of development and people-centered governance.
