The All Progressives Congress (APC) is set to stage a major political rally in Epe Division as part of its final mobilization push ahead of the July 12 local government elections in Lagos State.
EpeInsights reports that the event, which will take place in Epe, aims to energize grassroots supporters and officially unveil chairmanship and councillorship candidates from the three local councils in the constituency: Epe Local Government, Eredo Local Council Development Area (LCDA), and Ikosi-Ejinrin LCDA.
Speaking ahead of the rally, Vice Chairman of Lagos East Senatorial District, Hon. Yeye Olayinka Olusanya, emphasized its strategic importance.
“This Mega Rally is essential. It’s about reconnecting with our people and presenting leaders who have consistently delivered. Our candidates have earned the people’s trust through performance,” she said.
Among those expected to be unveiled are:
- Hon. Princess Surah Olayemi Animashaun (Chairmanship Candidate, Epe LG) and Hon. Lateef Adesanya(Vice).
- Hon. Otunba Wale Raji Anomo (Ikosi-Ejinrin LCDA) and Hon. Wasiu Dehinsilu (Vice).
- c (Eredo LCDA) and Hon. Lateef Adesanya (Vice).
Hon. Anomo noted that the APC was fully prepared for the elections.
“We’re taking this rally as an opportunity to speak directly to our constituents and share our vision of inclusive, community-driven governance,” he stated.
The rally will also feature presentations by all councillorship candidates across the wards in Epe Federal Constituency, who will outline their manifestos and development plans.
Under the leadership of Lagos APC Chairman, Pastor Cornelius Ojelabi, the party has reiterated its commitment to continuity, grassroots development, and responsive governance.
