Executive Chairman of Ikosi-Ejinrin Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Akogun Wale Raji Anomo has expressed deep appreciation following his official emergence as the All Progressives Congress (APC) chairmanship flagbearer for the upcoming July 12, 2025 LG/LCDA elections in Lagos State.
EpeInsights reports that in a heartfelt message titled “Appreciation and Acceptance of Nomination,” Anomo credited his success to divine providence, party unity and community support.
“All praise is due to Almighty Allah… This success is not mine alone; it is a reflection of the trust, unity, and collective aspiration of our great party and the people we serve.” He said.
The APC candidate extended special gratitude to party leaders and delegates within the Epe Division, as well as to the traditional rulers of the LCDA.
He described as “historic and humbling” the unanimous gesture by the six monarchs of Ikosi-Ejinrin who collectively purchased and presented his nomination form—a rare show of support in local politics.
Anomo also acknowledged the early backing of women’s groups, youth organizations, artisans, market associations, religious leaders, and other community stakeholders.
Their endorsements, he said, bolstered his resolve to continue in public service.
While celebrating his nomination as a milestone, Anomo emphasized that the real task lies ahead.
“This is only the first phase. The ultimate task lies ahead, the main election slated for July 12th, 2025,” he said, urging APC members and residents of Ikosi-Ejinrin to vote en masse and stay united.
Reaffirming his commitment to the development of the LCDA, Anomo pledged to consolidate on his administration’s achievements and to “do even more for our communities.”
The chairman concluded his message with prayers for divine guidance and blessings, signing off with the Yoruba expression of gratitude, “Mo mo l’ore.”
Anomo currently serves as Chairman of Ikosi-Ejinrin LCDA, headquartered in Agbowa, Epe, and is seeking re-election under the platform of the APC.
