A wave of optimism swept through the Eredo Local Council Development Area (LCDA) Secretariat today as Hon. Ismail Monsuru Akinloye resumed office for his second term as Executive Chairman, welcomed with enthusiasm and renewed commitment by staff and stakeholders.
EpeInsights reports that in a vibrant ceremony held at the council premises, Hon. Akinloye was greeted with applause and heartfelt cheers, symbolizing both his popularity and the high expectations surrounding his return.
The event marked the start of what many hope will be another productive tenure under his leadership.
Addressing staff during the welcome, the Chairman expressed his gratitude for their dedication and support during his first term, urging them to recommit themselves to unity, hard work, and service delivery.
He particularly emphasized the need to improve the LCDA’s Internally Generated Revenue (IGR), calling on all departments especially the revenue units to intensify efforts toward sustainable financial growth.

He concluded with a prayer for divine guidance and blessings on the staff and the entire Eredo community.
Representing the staff, the Vice Chairman of the Nigeria Union of Local Government Employees (NULGE), Comrade Victoria Ajayi, commended Hon. Akinloye for his consistent leadership and dedication to staff welfare.
She pledged the union’s full support for his administration, expressing confidence in his vision for a stronger and more prosperous Eredo LCDA.
